Returns & refunds

Food is not like other things you buy online. Once a sealed pack of ground spice has left our hands, we cannot know how it has been stored, and we will not resell it to someone else. So the rule is simple and slightly strict, and it exists for the next customer's safety as much as for ours.

What we replace or refund

If the pack arrives damaged, leaking, or with a broken seal — we replace it or refund it in full. Photograph it before you open anything else and send us the picture on WhatsApp.

If you were sent the wrong item — our mistake, our cost. We send the right one and arrange collection of the wrong one.

If the pack is past its date on arrival — that should never happen, and if it does we want to know which batch. Full refund.

Tell us within 7 days of delivery in any of those three cases.

What we cannot take back

A sealed pack that has been opened, and a pack that is simply not to your taste. Kashmiri chilli is milder than the chilli powder most kitchens keep — that is what it is for, and it is described that way on every product page. If you are not sure, buy the 100 g before the 500 g.

How a refund is paid

To wherever the money came from. Online payments go back to the card, UPI account or bank account used, and usually take 5 to 7 working days to appear — the delay is the bank's, not ours. Cash-on-delivery orders are refunded by UPI to a number you give us.

We do not offer store credit instead of a refund. If we owe you money, you should have the money.

Cancelling an order

Message us before it is dispatched and we will cancel it and refund in full. Once the courier has it, treat it as a delivery — refuse it at the door if you like, and we will refund when it comes back to us.
