Terms of sale

The terms on which Al Tahoor Spices sells to you. Plain words, no theatre.

Draft for review. This wording has not yet been confirmed by the house. Please check with us before relying on it.

These are the terms on which Al Tahoor Spices sells to you. Buying from this site means agreeing to them.

Who you are buying from

Al Tahoor Spices, part of the Murtaza Group of Companies, grinding at its own unit on the Industrial Estate, Duderhama, Ganderbal, Jammu & Kashmir 191201, with an office at Chinar Chowk, Shalimar, Srinagar. Our FSSAI licence number is printed on every pack and shown on the purity page.

Prices and availability

Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. The price you see on the product page is the price you pay; the total shown at checkout is what will be charged, and it is calculated on our server rather than in your browser.

We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order. If something sells out between your order and our packing it, we will contact you and refund that item rather than substitute it.

Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract when we confirm it — for online payments, when the payment is confirmed; for cash on delivery, when we accept the order.

We may decline an order. That is rare, and the reasons are dull: an address we cannot deliver to, a cash-on-delivery order we have reason to doubt, a pricing error obvious enough that nobody could have thought it was real.

Payment

Online payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number or UPI PIN. Cash on delivery is available up to ₹2,000 per order.

Delivery, returns and refunds

Set out in full on the shipping and returns pages, which form part of these terms.

What we promise about the spice

That it is what the pack says it is: ground at our unit, from whole spice, with nothing added. That it is within its date when it reaches you, sealed, and stored properly until it left us.

We cannot promise how it behaves in your kitchen. Spice is an agricultural product; two batches of the same chilli from two harvests will not be identical, and we would be suspicious of anyone who claimed otherwise.

What we are not liable for

Delays caused by couriers, weather, or the Srinagar–Jammu highway closing. Anything that happens to the spice after it is delivered and opened. Any loss beyond the value of the order itself.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud — nor could it.

Your account and the site

The content of this site — words, photographs, the marks and the design — belongs to Al Tahoor Spices. You are welcome to link to it, quote it and share it. You are not welcome to copy it wholesale onto another shop.

Do not attempt to break into, overload or scrape this site. We log what is necessary to notice that happening.

Complaints and disputes

Tell us first. Most things are solved in a WhatsApp message on the same day.

These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
